Still 28th February - arrived Mexico City at 7.30 pm local time after our long delay in LAX.
Mexico City International Airport was fast, efficient and completely relaxed by comparison. No delays, no difficulties and out into the concourse to await our transport in record time! Feel very affectionate towards Mexico.
After a short 40 minute trip to the hotel, check in was fast and in our room approx 10 minutes after arriving. Now for some food before a good night's sleep. Busy day tomorrow!!
Oh no, foraging for food not successful. Wandered around for 40 minutes without finding anything open. All very tired, hungry and getting a bit frustrated as now 10 pm and no food. Finally made our way back to the hotel to be directed to their rooftop bar where they expected us to buy lots of drinks before we could order food. Luckily for us, Stella was able to convince them to give us food. Ended up with a very lovely meal at on the rooftop bar of our hotel. Finally to bed around midnight. Very pleased when the clock ticked over to 12.05 am on Saturday 1st March!!! Groundhog day finally over.
Yehh you all made it. Sounds like LA was very slow though. Now you can enjoy a non stop diet of beans, and tortilla as well as tacos, and burritos followed by a Crown beer!!!

Finally catching up with all of your news.... glad that you have Stella to impress people with her insistence and manners! Sounds like your hotel was lovely.... can't wait to hear more!
